Not only do school groups get to take advantage of our special group ticket prices, but classroom teachers come FREE. In addition, we offer comprehensive study guides for most productions for you to use in preparing your class for the field trip. Towsley Auditorium offers free parking for buses and chaperones as well as easy loading and unloading at the front door, making a Wild Swan Theater performance possibly the most convenient field trip option in Ann Arbor!
School Group Ticket Prices: $7.50/student, $10/adult chaperone, and classroom teachers come free!
How to Reserve Tickets for Your Classroom:
To order your school group tickets, please call the Wild Swan office at 734-995-0530 or email kathy@wildswantheater.org. When emailing Kathy, please indicate which production, date, and time you are interested in attending. Also, give her your best “guesstimate” as far as how many students, chaperones, and teachers will be attending the performance. This will allow her to check availability immediately. Many of our school group performances sell out quickly, so it is advisable to make reservations early. Our season runs October through May, and we begin taking reservations the spring prior to the new school year.
Please Note: As long as there is room for your group, we will hold seats for you at your desired performance but will not actually assign your group seats until we receive payment in full. There are no refunds. In the event that your school is closed due to inclement weather on the day of the performance we will do everything we can to reschedule your group for another day.
Payment:
Invoices are mailed to you upon receipt of your reservation. Your payment is due four weeks before the date you are scheduled to attend. If you need to change your reservation or find you have circumstances that prevent you from paying on time, please call our office BEFORE the payment due date: (734) 995-0530. We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover) or checks (made out to “Wild Swan Theater”). Sorry, we cannot decrease your reservation count after the payment deadline and no refunds for unused tickets can be made after payment is received.
Arrival Time and Seating:
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your performance start time. The performance start time can be found on your invoice. One teacher should check in with a theater staff person upon arrival. At that time, please ask your entire group to follow our instructions so that we can get you seated as quickly and efficiently as possible. Anyone arriving after the show has started will be seated at the discretion of the house manager.
Please Note: Every group has a pre-assigned seating assignment, so you must wait to be seated by an usher. Seats are assigned based on the order payment was received and with any special needs taken into consideration. If your group has wheelchairs or special needs, please notify our office when making your reservation.
Transportation and Parking:
All of Wild Swan’s season performances take place in Towsley Auditorium, located in the Morris Lawrence Building on the campus of Washtenaw Community College. Because Washtenaw Community College uses one address for every building on campus (4800 E Huron River Dr, Ann Arbor), your GPS will get you to the campus, but not the theater. When you are on the campus, look for and follow signs to Towsley Auditorium.

Policies:
We ask that you do not bring food or beverages inside the theater. There is room in the lobby to store these items during the performance. There is no photography or videography of any kind allowed inside the theater at any time. Please feel free to take field trip photos in our lobby or outside, but all cameras and recording devices must be put away when you go inside the theater.
